Pam Van Scoyoc has been writing since the early nineties.  Until then she had never considered writing. Art—yes, writing—no.  As fate would have it, she has been writing since.  She has a background in art that makes visualizing stories, as she reads and writes, a real asset.  Picture books are her favorites, of which she has 3 in print, and she has two novels in the works, but that was before the musical.
She currently lives out in the country south of Houston. She is the mother of 4 grown children and grandmother of 6 and they gave and still give her plenty of ideas for her stories which have all begun with one of her “real life  experiences.”
